It is almost time for "Grey's Anatomy" again and a new star is coming to the show. New reports are out that Geena Davis will be joining the show. On Saturday, New York Daily News shared about her addition to the show that will be returning to ABC this fall. It does sound like she will be the perfect addition to this show.

It will be a major arch, but the exact amount of episodes she will be in has not been revealed. Sandra Oh left the show last year, so of course they are going to have to come up with a few people to replace her. They need great characters that can join on the show and keep the fans interested.

The role that Geena Davis is playing is that of a surgeon. She is 58-years-old and is best known for her time on "Thelma and Louise." Everyone loves this movie and will be glad to see her in the role on television.

"Grey's Anatomy" has been known to bring in various surgeons for when someone needs a specialist. They have done this for several episodes and then they move on to another hospital or job. This is probably what will be happening with Geena Davis and it is really just a guessing game for now. It is obvious that Shonda Rhimes will be doing something great with her on the show.

"Grey's Anatomy" will be back on ABC this fall. It is almost time for the show to return and fans can't get enough of it. Hopefully this show will be around for a few more years to come. The premiere will be airing on September 25 so there is only a little over a month left to wait on the show to be back on television.
