There are an endless number of geek shirt sellers, but sometimes you come across one that sticks out from the crowd; maybe it has consistently fan-tastic designs or it’s cheaper or has some sort of regular deal or rewards program. What if there was a geek tee site that offered all of these things? Prepare to geek out on a budget because that site is here!
Once Upon A Tee (OUAT) offers a fresh collection of geek shirts sold at $12 per tee served up weekly. The clock is ticking on nabbing the designs of your fandom fantasy, but you have a little more time than most sites and a wide variety from several awesome artists. Luckily, if you are interested in last week’s tees, they the can be found in the After Hours section for a little while longer and for a little cash, but it’s still better than missing out entirely on just the right geekdom garb. All OUAT shirts are customizable in size, gender, and color, and are printed to order on pre-shrunk, 100% cotton Gildan tees (see Sizing Chart here).
What’s so great about having a collection to choose from? Well, geeks are lumped in a group but we are unique beasts, as individual as we are the similar. You and your bud may both be Whovians, but you may more appreciate “Bad Landing” by Adams Pinto (currently in the After Hours collection) and your friend may be all about this “Stare Down Contest” featuring a Weeping Angel and The Silence by ZeroBriant Designs. This week you can get a double shot of fandom fulfillment at Once Upon A Tee the main collection is actually 2 mini collections. You can choose from 8 Breaking Bad (including “Making of a Heisenberg” by Tom Trager) or 3 Dexter themed shirts (such as “Dexter’s Laboratory” which features a fun mash-up of the ’96-’03 cartoon of that name by Harantula). Check out all the current designs in the slideshow above. OUAT will also have holiday based collections. Via The Geekery Page, Jason Henry of OUAT, told me here is a Halloween based collection in the works. With the great variety of collections and great artists from around the globe (want to submit some art and earn money per shirt sold? Submit your to OUAT art here), you’ll need to keep an eye on OUAT. You can do so by visiting their website, liking the OUAT Facebook page, and signing up for their newsletter (in the right margin of their site or at the top of their Facebook Page).
OUAT offers rewards for partaking of their awesomeness. You get 10 points per $1. Then, if you purchase and refer a friend, you’ll get 25 more points. What may I get with this “point” currency you may ask? Check out a taste of their rewards program (taken directly from page, see site for full details):
