GED test will become harder and more expensive

People who want to earn a diploma by taking the General Education Development test can expect to face additional hurdles if they wait another year. Beginning on January 2, 2014, the GED will cost an additional $50 and will be available only online, according to an article by Karen Yi in the January 12 Sun Sentinel.

"This will just make my life a little harder. Because of family issues, I was unable to complete high school when I was a teenager. Now I have to work and prepare for a hard test," said Ronald Holmberg, a Miami resident.
