Although the game doesn't come out until March 19th, the Gears of War: Judgment launch trailer was released today by Microsoft. In typical Gears of War fashion, the trailer is more like a music video with lots of action-based gameplay (the song used is "Shooting the Moon" by Mona). Check it out embedded below.
According to the video's description, if the official trailer receives over 100,000 views by Friday, March 15th, Microsoft will release a free downloadable Window Web weapon skin. At the time of this writing, it has received a little more than 1,300 views so be sure to watch and share it with friends!
Gears of War: Judgment is a prequel to the events of the first game. The story features Kilo Squad which includes Lt. Damon Baird and Pvt. Augustus "The Cole Train" Cole as the two main characters. The other two members of Kilo Squad are Sofia Hendrik and Garron Paduk. Each character will play a major role in the campaign and have their own playable section, unlike in past games where players controlled the same character throughout.
Gears of War: Judgment is an Xbox 360 exclusive.
