Jim Brown has commented about the possibility of his company developing a new “Gears of War” video game for the PS4 and Xbox 720. According to a report by Gaming Bolt on March 3, the lead lever designer at Epic Games (the studio behind the upcoming “Gears of War: Judgment” disclosed that he is opened to brining the series to the next-generation gaming systems. I would love to say yes; I mean, this is something that is very personal to a lot of us. We’ve been working on it for a decade now and the whole reason we did this one is because so many fans wanted us to and we weren’t done with it.
The PS4 and Xbox 720 have an expected holiday 2013 release time frame in North America.
Epic Games is currently working with People Can Fly in the development of “Gears of War: Judgment.” The third-person shooter is slated to come out in North America on March 19. You can pre-order the title in the following link: “Gears of War: Judgment”
Epic Games is already investing in the PS4 and Xbox 720 with the Unreal Engine 4 being built for the two next-generation systems.
