'Gears of War: Judgement' will demo it's new OverRun mode for everyone

The next game in the "Gears of War" series is just a few weeks away from coming out, although to most fans that's just too long. Even so, those that are on the fence about going back into the series or just thinking of getting into the series have something extra to look forward to.

"Gears of War: Judgement" will be shipping with a new game mode called OverRun. Now, gamers who pre-order the game from GameStop will get access to the mode on March 15, four days before the game hits retails shelves. However, those who don't pre-order the game, or buy the game, can try out the mode as a demo on March 19.

So not only do pre-orders get the demo, the public does as well. This may be enough to convince fans to come back and new fans to give the game a try. The upside to playing the demo during the launch week is that all the multiplayer XP earned by players during that first seven days will be transferred over to the full retail game.

"Gears of War: Judgement" will launch for the Xbox 360 on March 19, 2013.
