'Gears of War: Judgment' OverRun mode unlocked early with GameStop pre-order (Photos)

Microsoft announced Monday that it has teamed up with GameStop to grant access to the OverRun multiplayer mode in "Gears of War: Judgment" to those that pre-order the Xbox 360 title from the game retailer.

OverRun is the class-based competitive mode that mashes up the Horde and Beast modes together from "Gears of War 3".

Early access to the Overrun multiplayer mode begins March 15 exclusively to GameStop PowerUp Rewards members who preorder “Gears of War: Judgment” online or at any GameStop location nationwide. The demo will also be accessible to all Xbox LIVE Gold members worldwide once the game launches on March 19.

Note that the demo will require at least 2 GB of space to download so those interested will need to make sure that their Xbox 360 is ready.

Those that play OverRun mode early or through the demo will be able to carry over any experience they've earned into the full version of "Gear of War: Judgment" when it releases on March 19. This carry over is only good during the first week of the game's release though.
