Gearbox Software has released new SHiFT codes for “Borderlands 2” as a New Year gift. For those not already aware SHiFT codes are used in “Borderlands 2” in order to receive gold keys which open a chest that gives you various goodies specific to your level.
It is a nice way to get some decent guns or other items for your level if your luck isn’t that great. The problem is gold keys are limited so you have to be on the lookout for codes that Gearbox or others release. Luckily they release them at fairly regular intervals so you can get them at a nice clip if you check regularly. If you don’t you may find yourself missing out because the codes have already expired.
This particular batch of SHiFT codes will be active through Jan. 6.

They can be redeemed from the Extras option at the main menu.
