Gearbox Software has given away more codes today that players may redeem for golden keys inside “Borderlands 2.” Gifting fans with in-game items has become a daily routine for the developer of the popular co-op shooter. Golden keys can be used inside “Borderlands 2” to acquire rare gear which players may equip on their Vault Hunter characters.
By redeeming the codes, players will be given a single golden key inside "Borderlands 2." Golden keys allow gamers to open a special locked loot chest inside the city of Sanctuary. Unlocking the chest permanently consumes the golden key and guarantees a rare, level appropriate, piece of gear. Since the gear acquired with a golden key scales with a player’s level, it’s advised to wait on using the key until reaching max level to ensure a good high-level piece of equipment. The codes for each platform are as below. These need to be entered into the main menu of the game. Each code will remain active through this Sunday.
