Gear up for the Firefighter/Police CrossFit Challenge to benefit Northwest Burn Foundation


All proceeds benefit the Northwest Burn Foundation.

Watch local firefighters and police officers "go for the burn" to help severely burned youth at Kirkland CrossFit's 2nd Annual Firefighter/Police CrossFit Challenge on Saturday, August 8, 2009. Better yet, come join 'em!

GET FIRED UP TO GET CROSSFIT.

Register Now: Go to Kirkland CrossFit to download a registration form by clicking on the event link located on their home page. Participants must be professional
firefighters, police officers or military personnel. Early registration fee is $35 per person if received by July 20th. After July 21st, regular registration fee is $45 per person.

Start Training: Visit CrossFit.com or your local CrossFit gym for training tips and more information. Details of the competition are intentionally being withheld until the day of the event. Event organizers may pull a hopper-style workout or one that will challenge you to the core. You've been warned.

Spread the Word: This event is open for public viewing, so tell your family and friends to come see what CrossFit is all about, and to support a great local cause. All proceeds go to benefit the Northwest Burn Foundation (NWBF) programs and services.

About NWBF: Firefighters, burn care professionals from Harborview Medical Center, and parents with severely burned children established the Northwest Burn Foundation to prevent burns and improve the quality of life for burn survivors. For more information, visit nwburn.org.

DIRECTIONS
From I - 5 or I-405:
• Take State Route 520 East
• Take the West Lake Sammamish Parkway Exit
• At the bottom of the ramp, go right (southbound) on W. Lake Sammamish Parkway NE
• The park entrance is the next left at the traffic light
• Once turning left into park entrance, follow road about .5 miles to Recreation and Event Pad

PARKING
• Parking is $1 (cash only).
• Additional parking information will be sent upon registration.
