GCG in debt?

Wisconsin's largest animal rights organization, Global Conservation Group is confessing that they are in debt already this year.

As the Chief Accountant, Jim Henry of the organization put it, "We've had an unusually and unexpected low amount of donations this year and last year, but our campaigns and programs have continued to run normally, causing us to run right into the ground." He goes on to say "We previously decided to keep our campaigns and programs running in hopes that donations would come in, as they used to, but that never happened. We are now forced to put many of our activities on hold."

The GCG's programs include offering free spay and neuter services to cats, paying for underprivileged peoples' veterinary bills, giving away free vegan food, and running animal rights related campaigns and advertisements encouraging compassion for animals.

The Global Conservation Group is an amazing organization that helps so many animals every year. They rescue animals on a global level and investigate thousands of animal cruelty cases annually. Please, if you can, make a donation here to help them out: http://www.globalconservationgroup.org/DonateDetails.htm
