In other concert news, Cleveland rapper Machine Gun Kelly's September 20 concert at the Val Air Ballroom in West Des Moines has been rescheduled for October 18 at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.) Tickets to see the rapper's "Est. 4 Life: Fans Only Tour" are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the Val Air box office or online through TicketWeb. The concert is open to all ages.

September 11's Cloud Cult concert at Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines has been cancelled. The 8-person Minneapolis indie pop/rock band hopes to reschedule the date at some point in the future. They explained the cancellation on their Facebook page:

Apologies to Des Moines, but we are rescheduling our show that was scheduled to take place on September 11th. We are performing an all ages show at Etown in Boulder, Colorado the following night. Touring with two young kids (a 2-year-old and 4-year-old) is not easy when it comes to how much we have them strapped in a car going from city to city, particularly on a drive that far. We will be announcing a new Des Moines date soon, and tickets for [the September 11] show will be refunded. It's incredibly rare that we reschedule a show, so apologies and thanks for the understanding. Contact us directly if you had tickets for that Des Moines show, and we will send you a free album of your choice.

Des Moines ticketholders can return to their point of purchase for full refunds.
