Gay parents have well-adjusted teens

We live in a new time.  An era of diversity and tolerance.  With change, acceptance is sometimes difficult for some people, however according to Psych Central, a new study suggests children of gay parents are not only psychologically healthy, but often appear to exhibit better social and academic adjustment and a significantly lower incidence of social problems than their peers.

Are you shocked? Don't be.  Parenting teenagers today is not easy, as a matter of fact whether you are homosexual or heterosexual, you can still experience those challenging issues that teens have.

Being a teen is not easy, especially with peer pressure.  When a teen has gay parents they are more at risk for ridicule or rude bullying.

There are 1 million lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender parents raising about 2 million children in the U.S., according to figures analyzed by UCLA's Williams Institute. Good parents are good parents, no matter their sexual orientation.
