Gay Men's Chorus of LA cover "True Colors" for "It gets better" project

In a very emotional and tearful tribute, the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles covered Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" as their offering to the "it gets better" campaign. "It gets better" is a rather expansive collection of videos targeting and supporting LGBT and questioning youth, created by columnist Dan Savage in response to the heightened rate of suicide among LGBT individuals over the past several months.

The video, found here on the tab at left, was filmed at Los Angeles' Immanuel Presbyterian Church, on Wilshire, near Vermont.

Please watch the video in its entirety; its beautiful message and merit isn't fully realized until the song's close.

To view the many other video testimonies and contributions made for the "it gets better" project, do visit the campaign's website on youtube here.

Please donate, volunteer, or support The Trevor Project, @thetrevorproject.com, a crisis center and hotline for LGBT and questioning youth. And if you are in need of help, please call them, available anytime, at 866-4-U-TREVOR.

As always please stand up against LGBT bullying, harassment, inequality, and degradation, because even the littlest degree contributes to the terrible, tragic and unnecessary deaths of these beautiful young lives.
