Gaunt-looking Angelina Jolie dazzles during whirlwind NYC press tour

Oscar winner Angelina Jolie, who recently opened up about her past drug addiction, looked stunning but extremely thin while promoting her film In the Land of Blood and Honey in New York this week.

Jolie, 36, sported all-black pantsuit at a screening in New York on Dec. 6, 2011.

The loose-fitting outfit accentuated the 5'7" beauty's long, thin legs and bony arms.

'Never Felt Traditionally Beautiful'

The previous evening, Jolie and partner Brad Pitt, 47, lit up the red carpet at the NYC premiere of her film at School of Visual Arts.

Angelina, who wrote and directed the war drama In the Land of Blood and Honey, has said she doesn't obsess over her much-discussed good looks.

“I always felt not traditionally beautiful," she said. "I have big features…as I get older I look like my mom. And I love my mom.

"As long as Brad thinks I'm beautiful, I just don't think about [it]. I wake up and I want to be a smarter person."

'Staying Healthy & Aging Well Are Important to Me'

Jolie, whose facial features are the most requested at plastic surgeons' offices, has no plans to go under the knife anytime soon.

I haven’t had anything done and I don’t think I will," she said. "But if it makes somebody happy, then that’s up to them."

Jolie, whose mom, Marcheline Bertrand, died of ovarian cancer in 2007 at the age of 56, said being a mom has made her more aware of the importance of good health and fitness.

“Motherhood has changed my entire life,” said the mom of six. “I’m more patient and more silly. I wake up with an immediate constant reminder of what’s really important in life.

"I lost my mother not so long ago and there is something about the years passing where you really appreciate life more each day. And it becomes important for you to stay healthy and age gracefully. I want to see my grandkids. I want to see my children grown and spend the years with Brad."
