Gateway to the Big South Fork Visitor Center opens in Crossville, Tennessee

The Gateway to the Big South Fork Visitor Center will open in Crossville, Tennessee. The new center will make it easier and more convenient for visitors to pick up information on the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.

The center is a partnership of several agencies involving. Making it happen are

  • National Park Service
  • Tennessee Department of Transportation
  • City of Crossville
  • Cumberland County
  • Crossville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce

A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m. An open house will be held during operating hours. (Please note that Crossville, Tennessee is in the Central Time Zone.)
