Gateway Academy hiring certified pre-k teacher in the new year

A four-star child development center, Gateway Academy-Kenton in Huntersville, NC is hiring a full-time certified pre-k teacher to teach 4 and 5 year olds who did not make the cut off age for kindergarten.

The Gateway Academy
pre-k teacher will be NC certified in pre-k, birth-kindergarten, or early childhood education with a degree in that area or a related area, hold Credentials I and II, have a criminal records qualifying letter, and a current TB test. A Master’s Degree is preferred.

The classroom ratio for the pre-k class at Gateway Academy-Kenton is 1-13. The curriculum follows the NC Core Standards.

Gateway Academy-Kenton is open from Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. and provides before and after school care, as well as care for infants through school age.
