The official spoilers for Gatecrash runneth over in this third week of official spoilers on the mothership and on third-party sites authorized by Wizards. But the rigid dictation of the pace of rumor seasons by Wizards as of late doesn't mean there are never unofficial spoilers anymore. Case in point: The masterful detective work and incredible good luck of MTGSalvation.com forum poster Dr. Jeebus. The good Dr. posted in the Rumor Mill today saying he'd stumbled upon three cards from an unknown source on "another forum," and they look both legit and awesome. Here are the text versions of the three, since the picture quality isn't spectacular:
Realmwright U
Creature - Vedalken Wizard (Rare)
As Realmwright enters the battlefield, choose a basic land type.
Lands you control are the chosen type in addition to their other types.
There is not a single inch of Ravnica that hasn't been altered at one point or another to fit someone's whims.

Incredibly effective mana fixing in blue? A one-mana blue dude who nearly emulates Chromatic Lantern? Say it ain't so. Sure, this doesn't actually accelerate your mana, but this blue answer to green's many 1/1 mana dorks makes sure that in a multicolored environment, you'll never lack the right colors again. This seems to be on the same tier as Birds of Paradise, trading some color-production flexibility and mana base expansion for the ability to turn all of your basics into the original dual lands. That's power that should not be underestimated.
Sylvan Primordial 5GG
Creature - Avatar (Rare)
Reach
When Sylvan Primordial enters the battlefield, for each opponent, destroy target noncreature permanent that player controls. For each permanent destroyed this way, search your library for a Forest card and put that card onto the battlefield tapped. Then shuffle your library.

The cycle continues! I love these guys for a lot of reasons - EDH potential is only the tip of the iceberg. He even has an ability that's a more powerful version of the one I speculated for him, which is certainly icing on the cake. Even without the crucial late-game ability that allows you to nuke lands or threatening artifacts, enchantments, or even planeswalkers, as well as to get out your own Forests for a final ramp push, a 6/8 body with reach is incredible, even for seven mana. I can see this guy and the rest of his cycle seeing play as finishers in Limited for slower decks.
Master Biomancer 2GU
Creature - Elf Wizard (Mythic)
Each creature you control enters the battlefield with a number of additional +1/+1 counters on it equal to Master Biomancer's power and as a Mutant in addition to its other types.
"Nature is a wonderful engineer but works far too slowly for my tastes."

True to the philosophy of the Simic, their second mythic is a total Timmy/Johnny card that happens to work in perfect harmony with their evolve keyword and their guildmaster, Zegana. At bare minimum, this is a fat-toughness attacker or blocker that hands out power and toughness bonuses that don't go away if it dies and that are timed to almost ensure that he'll help set off plenty of evolve triggers. But get some +1/+1 counters on Master Biomancer himself and your opponents will be in for a real beatdown. I'd definitely rank this one among one of my favorite cards in the whole set.
