Gastropub The Gryphon opens March 13 in Dupont Circle

On March 13, The Gryphon, an upscale sports bar and gastropub, will open in Dupont Circle.

The Gryphon is the brother restaurant to Lost Society, an upscale steakhouse at 14th and U Streets. Lost Society's Executive Chef Joseph Evans provides innovative dishes for The Gryphon, including chili and soy gryphon wings and duck rillette with crostini. You can expect traditional pub favorites too like oyster po' boys, fried oysters, and a main dish of braised beef short ribs.

There are plenty of big screen TVs to watch all the games and a high-tech media system that allows certain staff to change the channels and other settings through an iPad or Android tablet.

For more information, call (202) 827-8980 or visit The Gryphon's Facebook page. The Gryphon is located at 1337 Connecticut Avenue, NW.
