Gas prices are on the rise but you can find cheap gas
According to a February 1 report on the website for CBS Chicago, gas prices are heading up again as we move into spring. GasBuddy senior petroleum analyst Patrick DeHannn says that gas prices are up about 20 cents a gallon over the past week. Residents of Chicago are seeing gas prices head toward $4.00 a gallon.
But this is nothing compared to the gas prices on Long Island. The February 1 gas prices in Deer Park, for example, range from $3.87 at Hess to $4.07 at Sunoco. At one gas station in Deer Park, gas has already hit $4.50 a gallon.
