Former "Teen Mom" Amber Portwood has been in jail since June of 2012 because she chose it over continuing drug court because she didn't feel it was helping her. On Feb. 6 Wetpaint reports that Gary Shirley, Amber's ex-boyfriend and father of her child is finally planning a trip to visit her! This will be the first visit that Gary has made since Amber has been incarcerated.
Gary tweeted that he appreciates the support that fans have given her and he's proud of her and they've been talking quite a bit. Shawn, Amber's brother, recently posted on his blog that Amber is doing well, singing in the choir, working, finishing up drug rehabilitation, and getting her GED.
The real question that fans are dying to know is whether Gary is going to bring Leah to visit her mother. He has been saying that he would, but so far, he hasn't made good on his word. Will it end up that Gary is nothing more than a liar? Many fans think so considering he was a pretty big jerk to Amber when she wasn't in jail, so why would her being in jail make any difference?
