Gary Coleman was arrested Sunday on a domestic violence charge. He was arrested in Santaquin at 1:30 pm Sunday and is currently in the Utah county jail. Coleman, 41, missed a court date and the jail is uncertain when the original incident occurred. Bail has been set at $1,725.
In July, Coleman’s wife locked him out of their house after an argument. His wife, Shannon Price, 23, was charged with a misdemeanor domestic violence and disorderly conduct.
The couple met in 2007 while filming the movie, Church Ball and five months later they married. In 2008, the couple appeared on Divorce Court and Price claimed he was distant and depressed. They have not divorced.
Coleman recently settled a lawsuit with a man that he hit with his truck outside a bowling alley. Gary Coleman is best known as a childhood star and played Arnold Jackson on the hit TV show Different Strokes. The show ran from 1978-1986, and at the height of his career he earned $100,000 per episode. He also appeared on The Jefferson’s and Good Times.
