Christian music veteran Gary Chapman, 56, and his wife Cassie Piersol Chapman, 33, got married Dec. 22, 2008 for the first time, but once was not enough. Now the happily married and married again couple reveals some of their secrets to keeping the romance alive in their relationship for Valentine's Day and throughout the year.
The five-time Grammy-nominated, seven-time Dove Award-winning music artist says he has married the star of "Private Lives of Nashville Wives" numerous times, starting with a "very small ceremony my father performed.” Next the Nashville couple had a mountaintop wedding in Breckenridge, Colo., followed by a Renaissance fair ceremony, and last year, they got married in Las Vegas.
Cassie wants at least one more wedding with a real ceremony. “I want my dad to walk me down the aisle and mom to button me up.”
The happy couple shares some tips on keeping the romance alive in relationships, other than multiple wedding ceremonies:
• Discover and embrace your partner’s cultural perspective.
• Identify and enjoy your shared cultural experiences.
• Stay in shape for yourself and your artner
