Gary Allan releases “Set You Free”

Tomorrow is the day you can get your hands on new music from Gary Allan. His latest album released by MCA titled “Set You Free” has 12 tracks including his newest hit “Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain)” which he co-wrote with Matt Warren and Hillary Lindsey. Allan also co-wrote 4 other tracks on the album including “You Without Me”, “One More Time”, “No Worries” and “Pieces.”

Billboard has “Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain)” sitting pretty in the #4 spot and it’s in the #3 position on Bob Kingsley’s CT 40. The 1st release from Allan’s new album even makes it onto his own list of favorite songs on the album. Allan also put the song to work by teaming up with the Red Cross to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy by offering a free download of an acoustic version of his hit song to his fans for a donation to the Red Cross at the end of his video.

“Set You Free” was not scheduled to be released until the spring but the huge success of the first release moved the release date up. Allan told Billboard "So, we were doing cartwheels over that. It got moved up all the way through to January 22. It's been the fastest song we've ever had, and I feel really blessed about that." Make sure you catch Gary Allan performing on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Wednesday January 23rd on NBC.
