Brooks recently announced that he would be taking part in a live broadcast for his final performance from the Encore Theater at the Wynn in Las Vegas that will air on CBS on Nov. 29, 2013 titled "GARTH BROOKS, LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS."
Brooks spoke about the impact his family had on his music when the special was announced saying "Blame it all on my roots." Brooks added "This is the soundtrack of my life. Growing up the last of six kids, music was the life blood of our family and as you can imagine, mom, dad, and each kid had his or her own favorite stuff and it all funneled down to me."
