Garlic City—one of Charlotte’s most unique “Indie” groups—has proudly released its “Lost At Sea” EP. Recorded and engineered, locally, at Bench Studios, NC, by Chad Manus and Rick Lapinsky, Garlic City’s newly-released 5-track EP is truly a musical breakthrough, as it offers very welcoming musical refinement, when compared to other genres around Charlotte’s music scene—as in—just when you thought you’ve heard it all—along comes Garlic City!
As for Garlic City, the group is made up of Elliott Simpson, Bayley Courtland, Logan Newsome and Brodie Cole. Originally, Garlic City became one, as a result of joining Simpson’s solo group, “Garlic Farm,” with Cole’s solo group, “Skyscraper City.” The group continues to raise the bar on its redefined musical style and creativity, through a motto the group refers to as: “Saying so much in so few words.” Seemingly, the combination of the group’s motto and hard work enables the group to continue producing a, like-no-other, style of interesting music, with a great deal of expression to go with.

Also, the group will be promoting their newly released EP at their October 12 Evening Muse Event, where they will proudly open for the Alternative group, Easter Island, from Athens, GA—a not-to-be-missed event!
