According to a Jan. 18 E! News report, there’s something about W Magazine’s cover girl and "Gangster Squad" star Emma Stone that makes for good gossip. Stone, who covers the February issue of W Magazine in a Marc Jacobs leather jacket and bra talks to the magazine about movies, the Oscars and Ben Stiller. Inside the magazine, the fashionista rocks everything from Alexander McQueen to Balmain.
Named "Hollywood's Reigning Golden Girl" by the magazine, Stone addressed her Academy Awards presentation with Stiller last year. “A lot of people thought it was something else: When I came offstage, they were saying, ‘You were so drunk!' And I wasn't. Not until after…," she teased.
When it comes to being serious, the "Golden Girl" says, "In real life, sometimes it’s uncomfortable for me not to go for the joke. I’ve been looking at that in myself lately. Often, joking for me is a way of diffusing the awkwardness of a situation, so it’s kind of exhilarating to be a part of projects where there’s nothing funny or lighthearted."
Addressing her "Gangster Squad" fashion, the star admits that "It's time-consuming to put on a bustier and a little corset every day. But you're immediately more poised than you would be in modern-day clothes. And it makes it easy to get into character."
