Gaming in Utica: Nov. 27 - Dec.3

Several fun gaming events will be taking place during the upcoming week in the greater Utica, NY area.

  • Wednesday, Nov. 30:  Utica Public Library hosts Tabletop Gaming at 3:00pm.  Come play Magic: the Gathering and other games!  Ages 11+.  In addition, players are usually playing Magic: the Gathering at the Library every afternoon and evening!  Drop in for a casual and fun duel!
     
  • Saturday, Dec. 3:  Herkimer County Community College hosts TripleCon Anime & Gaming convention!  Anime, gaming and vendors all day from 11:00am until around 11:00pm.  Films, food, music, educational panels and workshops, gameshows, contests, and more!  Featuring special guests:  

    The voice of Claire Redfield from the Resident Evil video games, voice actress Alyson Court!

    Electronic/chip tune musical artist Nullsleep, who uses Game Boy and NES consoles to create music!

    Buy gaming supplies, Magic: the Gathering cards, and more!  Featuring Magic: the Gathering Booster Draft, Standard and Commander (EDH) Tournaments all day!  Great prizes!  Entry fee is $5 for ages 6+, entry FREE with HCCC Student ID.

  • Saturday, Dec. 3:  Killino's Standard Highlander Tournament.  1:00pm.  Build a 60 card singleton deck with Standard legal cards only.  Then take part in a fun and interesting tournament.  Decks restricted to 1 of any card except for basic lands.  Entry is $15.  Prizes based on attendance, all players guaranteed 1 pack even if they don't place top 4.  First place: $50 store credit, Second place:  $25 store credit, 3rd Place:  $15 store credit, 4th Place:  $15 store credit.
