Gaming plus fun dining and drinks equals a good time at Dave and Buster's

Finding a fun place to horse around and let loose is easy when you’re a kid – not so easy when you’re an adult who’s aiming to please an audience with an appetite for food, a thirst for a variety of drinks, and an aching for some friendly competition. One spot that hits all these marks is Dave and Buster’s.

Whether you’re looking to enjoy a civil game of shuffleboard, get in-tune with your inner child enjoying over 200 games in the arcade, or a little bit of both while catching the game, Dave and Buster’s is your winning ticket. Located in Denver and Westminster, amongst many other out-of-state locations, the atmosphere at Dave and Buster’s is one of good old fashion fun, with an over-21 twist.

While the ages allowed are 18 and up, there are limits of how many underage guests gain entrance with a guardian, who must be at least 25. In the Colorado locations, six minors to one guardian is the maximum allowed entrance, and that guardian assumes responsibility for their guests.

Dave and Buster’s offers multiple perks to the gaming aspect of their establishment, with one such highlight being the status of the Rewards Member. Just for signing up to become a Rewards Member, you’ll receive $10 free game play and get emails promoting special offers in food, gaming and more. Once a card has played over 1,200 chips, a Gold Member standing is achieved, which results in 10% off game play for life.

Check out their “Power Hour” from 4:30 to 7 o’clock pm Monday through Friday, which allows 60 minutes of video game play for only $10. After a few of these bad boys under your belt, you’ll appreciate becoming a Rewards Member.

Please don’t neglect that appetite you’re sure to build with all that gaming. Dave and Buster’s takes much well-deserved pride in their menu, which has you covered from appetizers, entrees and desserts. They also offer the “Eat and Play” combo, which allows you to choose from a selection of entrees and a $10 game card, both for around $16. This delightful two-for-one feature is available Sunday through Thursday open to close, Friday and Saturday until 5 o’clock pm.

And don’t think Dave and Buster’s overlooked the drink menu – with beer, wine and cocktails on hand, they’ve got a full arsenal to quench your thirst. Double that with happy hours occurring Monday through Friday 4:60 pm to 7 pm, and another late night happy hour Sunday through Thursday 9 pm to 11 pm, it’s obvious they’re determined to show you a good time, and your wallet some mercy.

Even if you can’t make it out to a Dave and Buster’s, hitting the game scene on-line is an option – but nothing beats the real thing. And the looks on your friend’s faces when you beat them at yet another game.
