Gaming goes extreme (Photos)

Today something wonderful has been unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show. Something that could blow the way we game out of the water. And we're not talking about waving a remote in the air to simulate playing sports. Oh, no. This is something much more creative than that.

Think of taking a webcam, or any 2D camera, and turning into a full motion control. Has your interest been piqued, yet?

Extreme Reality has come up with a way to turn your normal camera into a full body 3D motion control for games on several devices which have been somewhat left out of the motion control gaming frenzy, and even have several games to go along with it. It can read your movements from about 17 feet away, and transfer them into the game. This is different from the XBox Kinect, in that you don't have to buy a special device. You can use what you already have.

It also claims to have a seamless recovery rate for motion, and is cost-effective on power (for use with mobile phones).

The bundle comes with three games:

"PandaMania" - Dancing game

"Top Smash" - Tennis game

"Beat Booster" - Racing game

Extreme Reality really has opened the doors for everyone across all platforms and devices to enjoy motion controlled gaming. These three games are just the tip of the iceberg. Look for this to be the hottest new gaming sensation in the near future.
