Good day gamers and fitness enthusiast! As we all know gaming has evolved from just sitting on the couch and mashing buttons until your thumbs are numb into a combination of flailing your arms about, dancing and shouting various commands. Lets get into it.
The Nintendo wii was the first home console to encourage gamers to get off the couch and get active. Great games like wii sports and the Michael Jackson Experience were the early games to play for a good fitness workout. These games had you running and dancing for hours and inadvertently working out getting the heart rate up. 1 serious game session could have you burn hundreds of calories and it was fun.
Now they have a ton of games and peripherals to enhance your gaming/workout experience:
The only concern with the wii is the controllers have been known to be released from Gamers’ hands during vigorous game play. There are straps that come paired with each controller that wrap around the users wrist and this writer suggest using them or be prepared to buy a new TV.
