The holiday season is upon us and it’s time to start thinking about gifts to give to your friends and family. Examiner is here to help you find the best gifts for the best deals for the gamers in your life. Today we’re taking a look at Blizzard’s popular MMO “World of Warcraft” and the available gifts from the battle.net store for “WoW” enthusiasts.

The best deal from Blizzard this holiday season is probably a discount on the “World of Warcraft” game itself. While it’s free to sign up and play “WoW” it comes with a lot of restrictions. The full game can be purchased from the Battle.net store for $4.99 which is usually $19.99. If you know someone who's tried out the game for free then buying them the full game is a stellar gift idea to get them started.

For more experienced “WoW” players there are plenty of other gifts to choose from. Game expansion “Mists of Pandaria” can be purchased for just $9.99 and is a great addition to the game for those that don’t already have it. If the “WoW’ player in your life has all the game expansions then getting them a few months worth of subscriptions or game time is a stocking stuffer that would bring a smile to their faces.

In addition to game expansions, extra game time or subscriptions there are plenty of accessories available for purchase players can use in the game. Pets like the adorable Cinder Kitten or fearsome Soul of the Aspect can be purchased for $10. Mounts like dragons or steeds can be purchased for $25. While impressive looking helms are just $15. Get a pet and a mount for $5 cheaper with the Alterac Brew Pup and Enchanted Fey Dragon Bundle for $30.

Also available for purchase under $30 are game services like name changes, character transfers and race changes. If a friend has been begrudging his choice to name their character PoWnLORD5000 or wishes they could change their server to play with you instead of random noobs the appropriate services would make for a very thoughtful gift. Head over to the Battle.net shop to find the perfect holiday gift for “WoW” gamers.

Looking for a more tangible gift to give a "WoW" player? Gaming headsets with mics and USB hook ups are handy for chatting with friends while you raid. New mice and keyboards that you can easily map your spells, abilities and usable items to make fighting more efficient. These items are pricey but tend to be high quality. They can be ordered online or found at Best Buy or other high end electronic stores.
