In Mockingjay, Cressida is the film director who shadows Katniss in her moments to help define the resistance in hopes to enlighten the battle and continue to rage the war for freedom. Her assistant, Messalla, and her two cameramen, Pollux and Castor, have yet to be cast for the upcoming sequels. Cressida starts out in the Capitol though decides to join the fight for the resistance.
Dormer gained traction when she appeared in the recurring role as Anne Boleyn on Showtime’s The Tudors. Later she appeared as Private Lorraine in Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger. She continued her presence on the small screen in her current role as Margaery Tyrell in Game of Thrones.
The English beauty will add yet another lively face to the ever expanding Hunger Games films.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 will hit theater November 21, 2014.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 will conclude the series on November 20, 2015!
