A sneak peek for the upcoming third episode of the fourth season of the HBO medieval fantasy drama "Game of Thrones" was posted by Wetpaint Entertainment on Monday, and features the first major battle of the season. The episode will focus on the characters who did not appear in the previous episode. Watch the promo here.
The thirty second promo features clips from the end of the previous episode, before revealing Tyrion in a cell revealing that he has been set up for Joffrey's death. The majority of the episode will feature the battle between the Wildlings and the Crows at Castle Black, as Mance Rayder attacks from the north and the south to try and take the seven kingdoms.
Shots of the wildlings attacking a village at night are shown, as well as Jon Snow telling the men at Castle Black and Mance can win the fight if his is smart, since there aren't nearly as many men at the Wall as Jon had told them. Sam seems to have lost faith in Jon and is shown taking Gily away from the Wall on a wagon. Meanwhile, Jon proposes a plan to save the Wall and stop the wildlings, but not everyone is on board.
Stannis is growing impatient and wants to take the throne. However, those closest to him don't believe that magic and prophecies can win the war. Daenerys has finally arrived in Meereen and wants to take the city without negotiating, since they killed all the children and put them on the signs. She sends the dragons to fly over the city and launches catapults over the walls.
"Breaker of Chains" will air on Sunday, April 20 at 9 p.m. on HBO. The episode will also feature Arya and the Hound as they continue to travel towards the Vale. Tyrion and Tywin will also interact in this episode as Tyrion ponders a trial by combat and learns his fate. The episode title refers to Daenerys, as she continues to free slaves across the Narrow Sea.
