'Game of Thrones' spoilers: Peter Dinklage talks Tyrion's fate in season 4

With less than two weeks until the season four premiere of "Game of Thrones," more and more spoilers are circulating the internet about which stories from the book will make it into the new season. On Tuesday, March 25 Entertainment Weekly posted an interview with actor Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister on the series, and he revealed Tyrion's fate in season four.

Dinklage teased that the new season will "stick fairly closely to the plot line" from the books, and the new season is based on the second half of the book "A Storm of Swords" from author George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series. The previews for the season have revealed that Tyrion spends time in prison, and Dinklage joked that he was being put in handcuffs every few minutes for filming.

Tyrion will be a much different character than in the previous seasons. He will be vulnerable due to his relationship with Shae, and he will be "sent down the rabbit hole" due to his recent misfortunes. The actor described how nice to was to be filming with his Lannister family again, since the Tyrion spent most of the past seasons either away from King's Landing or trying to keep his family out of his business.

When asked about doing a nude scene, Dinklage responded that if a scene was written for Tyrion he "would definitely go to the gym" although he hasn't needed to yet. The writers on the series collaborate with the actors on some dialogue, and there are no real issues with completing scenes. The actor mentioned that he likes to "be uncomfortable as an actor because it keeps you alive."

"Game of Thrones" will return on Sunday, April 6 at 9 p.m. on HBO. Tune in to find out what happens in the ten episode season and what parts of the books are included. The first episode will be "Twin Swords," and focus on the war between the Wildlings and the Wall and the Lannister family in King's Landing.
