On Wednesday, March 5 Wetpaint Entertainment posted spoilers for the character of Brienne of Tarth on the upcoming fourth season of the HBO drama "Game of Thrones," which revealed some of the character's story from the books is coming and the drama gets more intense.

Brienne of Tarth is portrayed by actress Gwendoline Christie, and first appeared in the second season, winning a spot on King Renly Baratheon's guard. However, Renly is assassinated and Brienne becomes the loyal to Lady Catelyn Stark to deliver Jamie Lannister to King's Landing in exchange for Arya and Sansa Stark.

Christie recently revealed that Brienne faces situations in season four that are "outside her comfort zone" and there will be "an expansion of the character" since Brienne is not used to the way life is in King's Landing. Brienne is used to fights and physical action while King's Landing is more about secrets.

The second half of "A Storm of Swords," which will be covered in the ten episode season four, will see Brienne be "tested against a great hardship" which may even gets its own episode. Brienne will have to clear her name in Renly's death and take up a whole new mission. The fourth episode of the season will be called "Oathkeeper," which is the name of the sword that Jamie gives Brienne so she can find Sansa Stark, who has disappeared from the city.

Brienne will spend the rest of season four searching for the Stark girl in order to fulfill her promise to Lady Stark, so it's unlikely she will be killed in season four. Fans will see the character showing a whole new side of herself, much like Jamie revealed to her in season three.

The fourth season of "Game of Thrones" will air on Sunday, April 6 at 9 p.m. on HBO. The first episode will be entitled "Two Swords" which could be a reference to the swords Tywin Lannister gives his sons, or the battles fought by Daenerys Targaryen in Essos and the Wildings at the Wall.
