'Game of Thrones' spoilers: Arya Stark is 'dark and twisted' in season 4

On Tuesday, March 11 Wetpaint Entertainment posted an interview with actress Maisie Williams about what fans can expect from her character Arya Stark on the upcoming fourth season of "Game of Thrones," which begins airing next month.

Arya will be in a much darker place than in previous seasons, since she has just lost most of her family. She is still traveling with the Hound and has made a list of people she wants to kill. Williams described Arya as "a sponge soaking up habits and traits from everyone" much like she has already done with Jaqen H'ghar.

Arya will "pick up on the Hound's brutality" and that "fans may not like it but that's the way she is now" but the character will be more mature in the upcoming ten episodes. The sarcastic little girl is no more and it's even less likely that she will be reunited with her sister Sansa anytime soon. The character will still get the one liners that have provided some of the comic relief on the series.

Not having many previous acting roles, Williams have been praised for the role of Arya Stark, which has altered her personal life. She has to think twice about using social media and especially posting things on Twitter.

The first episode of season four, "Two Swords" will air on Sunday, April 6 at 9 p.m. on HBO. Tune in to find out which part of the second half of "Storm of Swords" will be featured in the episode. The ten episode season will air until the middle of June and a fifth season of the series has not been ordered.
