The release of the latest trailer for season 4 of “Game of Thrones” merely whetted the appetites of fans. In a Jan. 20 report on Yahoo News, teasers from cast members Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke have us downright titillated. This article does contain season4 spoilers so read on at your own risk.
According to Harington to plays the Stark family’s bastard son, Jon Snow, "There's a lot of death this season." He spoke on the red carpet while attending the SAG Awards. "I [can't wait] to see [which actor] nailed their death this season."
In season 4, Jon Snow will find his role to be a changing one. Harington said Jon will be speaking and fighting for himself now. There is a great deal for him to do and he has to step up. “This season, he turns into a leader. He doesn't have an older male figure speaking for him."
Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen also talked about the upcoming season. With regard to her children, the dragons, she said "They're huge! They're huge, they grew."
Those dragons, according to Clarke, are a game-changer. "Her dragons help [get her to a throne]." In terms of her character, Clarke said fans will find Khaleesi is "darker and more confident" in season 4.
