'Game of Thrones' Season 4 full trailer released: Video and highlights

HBO premiered the full trailer for "Game of Thrones" Season 4 on Sunday night before the premiere of "True Detectives", according to The Huffington Post on Jan. 12.

Late last week, HBO released a short 30 second preview of the "Game of Thrones" Season 4 trailer via five short video clips on Vine, leaving its loyal fans psyched and anticipating the full trailer.

HBO's American fantasy drama series "Game of Thrones", adapted from George R. R. Martin's fantasy novel series "A Song of Ice and Fire", has become wildly popular among George R. R. Martin fans and has won several awards and nominations since it premiered on HBO in April 2011.

What can viewers expect from Season 4?

Just a few highlights include, Joffrey claims he won the war and saved the city, Jaime tells Joffrey the war is not won, Jorah tries to rule a kingdom and warns against demonizing her enemies, Tyrion is in shackles, the Daenerys say there are two choices to either "live in my new world, or die in their old one", Jon Snow rallies the troops at Castle Black, Littlefinger contemplates, "What do we do to those who've hurt the ones we love?" and Cersei stands up to her father.

Plus, viewers can expect appearances from other favorite characters, including Arya, Ser Davos, Stannis Baratheon, Lord Varys, Ygritte, Yara Greyjoy and Theon, as well as the dragons.
