'Game of Thrones' Khal Drogo to be Aquaman in 'Dawn of Justice'

Multiple websites have been reporting that former "Game of Thrones" star Jason Momoa has been casted as Aquaman in the Man of Steel sequel "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Momoa, who played Khal Drogo in season one of the hit HBO show, has been rumored to take on the role of Arthur Curry for more than a year. After denying any involvement with the superhero film for months, Hitflix has confirmed the actor's casting in Zack Snyder's upcoming film.

Momoa's role in the film will be just a short cameo setting up framework for the Justice League film, but rumor has it that the King of Atlantis is not very happy with Superman and the debris from his battles affecting the seas.

I for one love the casting of Jason Momoa as Aquaman. His physical stature and appearance instantly brings legitimacy to a character that has transcended being the joke of the superhero community. If you've been following the Aquaman comic post New-52, you know how awesome Aquaman can be.
