Game of Thrones cast meets drone at Comic-Con

San Diego Comic-Con is known for it's glitzy, Hollywood-insider parties, but few of the more than 130,000 sci-fi, comic, and pop-culture fans get to peek at celebrities partying it up. This week, however, TV Guide Magazine gave viewers a unique look at the Game of Thrones crew party on board its yacht, "The California Princess," docked on San Diego's waterfront.

Nicolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) have a touching moment with a DJI Phantom 2 Vision drone at the exclusive San Diego Comic-Con cast party.

Teaming up with drone-maker DJI, the entertainment mag filmed the party from above using a drone. The result is a charmingly candid glimpse at celebrities letting their hair down, making funny faces, and just being themselves.

Maisie Williams, who plays young firebrand Arya Stark, looked to really enjoy the visit from the Phantom 2 Vision drone, mugging it up, and waving. Pedro Pascal—looking much better than we last saw him when his character, Oberyn Martell, lost his head— joined Williams to enjoy the spectacle.

Also to be seen mingling and enjoying the party: Brienne of Tarth in a dress (or more specifically Gwendoline Christie, who regularly wears dresses) and Sansa Stark full of uncharacteristic smiles (Sophie Turner, who unlike Sansa is actually a very smiley person).

But perhaps the most charming moment comes much later in the video, when Nikolaj Coster-Waldau coaxes the drone for an extreme close-up and gently reaches out his hand, as if to reach out and touch the viewer. It's a moment of sweetness from the man who plays a not very sweet character, Jaime Lannister.

San Diego Comic-Con ends Sunday.
