The Winnipeg Jets, losers of five straight, head into this afternoon's action against a Philadelphia team that is quiet literally flying.
The Philadelphia Flyers start this afternoon's action with four straight wins under their belts. Largely, this boost can be attributed to the stellar play of Ilya Bryzgalov who inevitably will be booed to all heck by a Winnipeg crowd who hasn't forgotten his slight from two years ago amid rumours of the Phoenix Coyotes returning "home".
The Jets will start Ondrej Pavelec once again in net to counter. Pavelec has not performed well of late but still has the foundation behind him.
Jacob Trouba, who recently signed his first big league contract, will be a healthy scratch alongside other recent signee Arthurs Kulda. Also out for the Winnipeg Jets are Paul Postma, Derek Meech, Antti Miettinen and Nik Antropov, the latter of whom is battling injury. noteworthy on the Flyers' side is Zac Rinaldo.
