The excitement about seeing another movie about Sarah Palin, former U.S. vice presidential nominee, is building fast as the word is that it will reveal even more about one of the most intriguing women of politics in the 21st century.
In the trailer, actress Julianne Moore portrays Sarah Palin on the verge of a nervous breakdown just weeks before the election in 2008. The script of the movie uses the controversial book by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin as a source. It is disclosed that the movie concentrates on Palin as she becomes a nationally-known figure while revealing the toll that position took on her, personally.
Sarah Palin has strongly criticized the book from which the movie is based as sensationalistic and unfairly biased against her.
The movie is set to be released in March 2012, near the time of the Super Tuesday elections.
Sarah Palin was the former governor of Alaska that 2008’s Republican presidential candidate John McCain chose as a running mate for the vice presidency. At the time, McCain’s decision to pick an unknown was considered risky by many. Since being chosen as the running mate, Palin has surged in popularity with Republicans and has fallen. She has managed to keep herself in the limelight with such events as her national bus tour last summer when she teased about a presidential candidacy for 2012 which never came to fruition.
