A Seaside Affair – “Go For The Galt!”
Attention Culinary Enthusiasts! Spend a spectacular Saturday along the ocean, enjoying unlimited samplings from the area’s top-notch restaurants – at the first annual Galt Mile Wine & Food Festival. It all takes place Saturday, March 2, at the Galt Ocean Mile Shoppes in Fort Lauderdale.
This inaugural “Seaside Affair” promises to be “a rich sensory experience of wine and food along the most famous beach front condo strips in Florida,” states Russell Spadaccini, President of BocaRaton.com and The Bites! Network (yes, those same crazy guys who bring us the popular Boca Raton Wine and Food & Wine Fest, and the Deerfield Beach Wine & Food Festival).
Don’t miss this “up-close and personal experience” to sip and savor over 40 fine artisan wines, craft beers, & spirits, along with distinctive food pairings from some of South Florida's top chefs. Also learn from the masters themselves during their live cooking demonstrations and wine pairing explanations, as you meet & mingle with wine-savvy sommeliers and talented chefs – all along the serene oceanfront setting. The Festival offers a true culinary voyage, with diverse offerings from a plethora of restaurants including: Da Campo Osteria (Italian), Texas De Brazil (Brazilian), Barrett's The Sly Fox (Irish), Tokyo Blue (Japanese), Sunfish Grill (Floribian), Shooters Waterfront Cafe (casual fare), Chart House (Seafood), The Hungry Cuban (Paella y Cubano), Blue Martini (premier Martini Lounge), Frankie and Johnny's (Italian), The Whole Enchilada (Fresh Mex), A Flair For Fudge (take a guess!), Crepeteria (Crepes), and of course, Potions in Motion (contemporary eclectic cuisine and creative cocktails) – and lots more!
As Spadaccini also notes, “the Galt Mile Wine and Food Festival brings you face-to-face with those who have made their lives -- their craft. This is time for you to dine, drink fine wine and experience a Seaside Affair - A perfect way to spend your Saturday!”
