Gale looks ready for war in new “Mockingjay” posters

Six new posters from "Mockingjay" are released on Vanity Fair

There are six new character posters released through Vanity Fair’s website. Along with the new posters, there is an article that focuses mainly on Gale (played by Liam Hemsworth) and how he will be more center stage (of course next to Katniss) instead of Peeta (played by Josh Hutcherson).

There are six posters in total and show us first looks at new characters in the movie that we haven’t seen yet. The posters include Natalie Dormer as Cressida, Evan Ross as Messalla, Mahershala Ali as Boggs, Wes Chatham as Castor, and Elden Henson as Pollux.

These posters are very dark and demeaning and really give a feeling of foreboding. You really can feel like a war is imminent and that these people are ready for it.

The fact that they are making character posters with these relatively smaller roles in the book might mean that they will have bigger roles in the movies. This could be because they have split the final book into two movies and will be adding scenes to give the movie substance.

Mockingjay pt 1 stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson and is set to come out November 21st.
