The Galbani Buffalo Italian Heritage Festival takes place Thursday through Sunday, July 17th through 20th along Hertel Ave. in Buffalo, with live entertainment, contests, cooking demonstrations and plenty of delicious Italian food.
Entertainment on the Frankie Scinta Stage includes performances by Gianni Russo (Thursday at 7:45 p.m.), Poperazzi (Friday at 7:45 p.m.), Big City Horns (Saturday at 7:45 p.m.) and Hit n Run (Sunday at 7:45 p.m.) among many others. The festival also presents the Dancing Under the Stars competition featuring local radio and television personalities as well as local dignitaries; Dancing Under the Stars begins Friday at 4:30 p.m.
Other activities include the Buffalo Italian Idol competition, the annual Bocce Tournament (Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and demonstrations on the Galbani Cooking Stage throughout the weekend.
