According to Hollywood Life on Jan. 24, Gal Gadot, who had been slated to appear in Zack Snyder's "Batman vs. Superman" film, has recently signed on to a three picture deal with Warner Brothers. On top of the "Man of Steel" sequel, she is to perform in not only a future "Justice League" film, but also her own stand alone "Wonder Woman" movie.

This would depend on the success of the first filmed she signed on for, "Batman vs. Superman". If it's a flop, chances are she won't move forward in the franchise. For years, a "Wonder Woman" film had been in planning, but they want to make sure the actress that portrays the character will impress fans and Warner Brothers.

Years have passed since Lynda Carter had taken on the lasso of truth and at this point if Gadot makes a good impression, a stand alone film for this Israeli actress would likely be in her favor.

"Batman vs. Superman" is scheduled to be released on May 6, 2016.
