Lady Gaga is unable to walk, as CNN reported this Tuesday, Feb. 12, that the “Just Dance” singer has suffered a painful injury that’s led her to postpone a few upcoming shows. Lady Gaga took to Twitter earlier today to tell fans that the chronic pain has made her unable to walk, and that the “Born This Way Ball” tour will need to wait until she has healed.
Lady Gaga unable to walk is definitely not the headline fans of Mother Monster wanted to hear with the talented singer’s upcoming concert shows in Chicago, Hamilton, Detroit, and Ontario coming this week.
“I’ve been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for some time now, over the past months it’s worsened,” wrote Lady Gaga on Twitter this Tuesday. “I’ve been praying it would heal.”
Although the source of her injury is still unknown, Lady Gaga suffers from severe joint inflammation, called synovitis.
Though it’s certainly out of Mother Monster’s control, Lady Gaga told fans she feels very bad about postponing her “Born this Way Ball” concert tour. She even tried to hide the injury, but it may have made her joint inflammation worse:
“I didn’t want to disappoint my amazing fans … However, after last night’s performance I could not walk and still can’t … I’m devastated and sad.”
