Singer Lady Gaga, 26, is unable to walk, and she's tweeted about it, on Feb. 12, 2013, to her over 34 million followers at her Twitter.
"There's an unfortunate announcement coming out right now, concerning myself and the Born This Ball. Im so sorry. I barely know what to say. I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal. I hid it from my staff, I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last nights performance I could not walk and still can't. To the fans in Chicago Detroit & Hamilton I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. Im devasted & sad. It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and Im sorry." (Written as posted at Gaga’s Twitter page.)
The injury was also tweeted, "Due to a case of synovitis, (severe inflammation of joints) Gaga’s doctor has ordered her to postpone show in Chicago, Detroit + Hamilton."
After the singer's announcement to her "Little Monsters," some hashtags were introduced such as #PrayForGaga, #GetWellSoonGaga and #GetBetterGaga.
As reported at Daily Mail on Feb. 12, 2013, after Gaga modeled for photographer Annie Leibowitz in New York, she had to be carried by her bodyguard unable to walk on her famous shoes.
This is not the first time the superstar has reported an issue involving her health. In 2010, for example, the pop star admitted to Larry King that she had tested "borderline positive" for lupus. "The truth is, I don't show any signs, any symptoms of lupus. But I have tested borderline positive for the disease. So, as of right now, I do not have it, but I have to take good care of myself," said Gaga.
