Gaga unable to walk after suffering a painful injury (Video)

Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, is reportedly devastated at having to postpone four shows after she suffered an injury that left her unable to walk.

Her performances on Feb. 13-14 in Chicago have been postponed as well as performances on Feb. 16 in Detroit and Feb. 17 in Hamilton, Canada, according to the singer in a statement.

Gaga turned to Twitter to explain the situation and she said she hurt herself during a concert a while ago and that her injury has since worsened. Gaga, 26, was unable to walk after Monday's concert in Quebec, Canada.

On Feb. 12 CNN, reported that the singer tried to hide the injury from her staff, but it is obvious she is in pain now that she can no longer walk.

""I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the last month it has worsened," Gaga tweeted. "I've been praying it would heal"

The injury that has left Gaga unable to walk is a condition called synovitis, which is a severe inflammation of joints.

The rest of her "Born This Way Ball" tour will continue as scheduled beginning with two shows in Philadelphia on Feb. 19-20. The dates on which the canceled concerts will be performed will be announced later.
